7. We review images for publication consideration

8. If accepted for publication:

• Confirm approval and handle final editing upon receipt of signed model release

• Submit invoice to POSED MAG and receive per-look flat-rate via PayPal or Zelle (your preference)

• Images remain confidential until published (typically 1-2 months)

• After publication, you can share up to 5 images per look from the magazine feature for your portfolio and social media use

• Share your affiliate link and earn 100% commission - Affiliate payments processed monthly via PayPal (required)

• Track your sales and earnings anytime through your affiliate dashboard

9. If not accepted:

• You retain full rights to your images

• Please share at least 3-5 professionally edited images per look with the model for their portfolio use

• You're free to use all images for your own portfolio and promotion

• We will consider 1 look per model if submitting more than 1 model

• Each look must contain at least 50% implied topless or artistic nude images

• We will happily review more than 4 looks but will likely purchase no more than 4 per model

• Shoots do not have to be current as long as the model is willing to sign our release, they were not published in other publications, and no more than a few images were already shared on social media or other platforms

How does the compensation model work? Photographers receive an upfront payment plus ongoing affiliate commissions. The upfront rate varies based on experience, project scope, and location—we'll discuss specific rates during our phone consultation after reviewing your portfolio. You'll also receive a unique affiliate link that tracks sales from your promotional efforts. When promote the magazine, you receive 100% of the affiliate commissions from those sales. This creates a win-win situation where everyone benefits from the issue's ongoing success.

Can I share images from my POSED MAG shoot on social media? POSED MAG operates differently from traditional magazines:

• If Published: Both you and the model(s) may use up to 5 images per look from the published feature for portfolio and social media promotion. These are images that will appear in the magazine itself.

• If Not Published: You retain full rights to your work. We simply ask that you share at least 3-5 edited images per look with the model(s) for their portfolio use.

• Social Media Sharing: We actively encourage sharing teasers and select images on social media! Tag @posedmag and use your affiliate links to maximize exposure and sales.

This collaborative approach ensures everyone benefits - photographers build their portfolios, models promote their work, and POSED MAG gains organic reach through authentic content sharing.

Is POSED MAG limited to swimwear photography? Not at all. While swimwear is certainly part of our editorial mix, POSED MAG features diverse glamour photography including lingerie, implied nude, and artistic nude work. Think classic Playboy meets peak-era Sports Illustrated Swimsuit—we celebrate the beauty of the female form through sophisticated, tasteful imagery. We seek photographers who excel at making models look stunning, confident, and alluring while maintaining artistic standards.

What creative control do I have? POSED MAG values each photographer's unique approach to photography. While we have guidelines to ensure consistency in quality and taste, you have creative freedom in your approach to lighting, posing, location, and overall aesthetic. We're looking for photographers who can create sensual, alluring images that make models look their absolute best—whether that's a sun-drenched beach shoot or an intimate bedroom setting. The goal is sophisticated glamour that celebrates beauty and sensuality.

What are the technical requirements for submissions? We require high-resolution images (minimum 24MP) shot in RAW format, professionally colored and delivered as high-quality JPEGs. Each submitted look should include 30-40 images with at least 25-30 publication-worthy shots. We can handle the skin retouching but you can choose to do it yourself, the images must maintain a natural look.

Do I need to work with models in my local area? While working locally is often most practical, you're not limited to your immediate area. Many photographers travel for shoots or work with models when they visit your city. We can also help connect you with models in your region through our application system. The key is creating content that meets our artistic standards, regardless of location.

How are photographers selected? We carefully review each photographer's portfolio, looking for technical excellence and the ability to capture sensual, beautiful imagery. We consider your experience with model direction, your skill at making models feel comfortable and confident, and your editing abilities. We want photographers who understand the difference between tasteful sensuality and explicit content—those who can create images that are alluring and sexy while maintaining class and sophistication.

What about model releases and legal requirements? POSED MAG handles all model release documentation. We provide the necessary forms and ensure all legal requirements are met. You'll need to coordinate with models to obtain signed releases before content can be published. We maintain strict age verification (18+) and consent protocols for all content.

How long does the review process take? We review photographer applications on a rolling basis, typically responding within 1-2 weeks. If your portfolio aligns with our needs, we'll schedule a phone consultation to discuss rates, upcoming projects, logistics, and answer any questions you have. This conversation helps ensure we're a good fit for each other before moving forward. The timeline from acceptance to publication varies based on our release schedule and content needs.

Can I submit work I've already shot? We primarily seek exclusive, unpublished content created specifically for POSED MAG. However, if you have exceptional unreleased work that fits our aesthetic and you own all rights, we can discuss it on a case-by-case basis. The models must be willing to sign our release forms and participate in the affiliate program.

What makes POSED MAG different from other publications? POSED MAG brings back the golden age of editorial-style glamour photography. Unlike traditional magazines, we offer photographers a flat rate as well as ongoing income through affiliate commissions, creative freedom within our framework, and the prestige of being published in a curated digital publication. What if a shoot doesn't meet publication standards? If submitted content doesn't meet our editorial requirements, it won't be published or paid for. In such cases, you retain the right to use the images and are encouraged to share them with the model. We expect photographers to provide models with images regardless of publication status, as this maintains professional relationships and ensures models receive value for their time.

Am I guaranteed payment after being approved? Approval as a POSED MAG photographer means you meet our quality standards, but payment is contingent upon each shoot meeting our editorial requirements. You must ensure models understand and deliver the required implied or artistic nude content before shooting.
